Enter into the darkness with me, to witness what lies in the shadows. Surrender with me to the quiet stillness, waiting for the light to return. What lessons does the darkness hold?
For the past couple of years, we have been confronted with so much in our world. It has divided us as we each navigate this the best we know how. Many have struggled with the isolation, fear and never-ending experiences that have kept people apart. People are tired and wondering if this will ever end, as another wave moves upon us.
The thing with fear is that it will consume you if you let it. As you give away your power to fear, to those you put your trust in because you have forgotten how to trust your own inner knowing, the more you, and the collective you are part of, manifest more of what it is you fear.
As a collective humanity, if we want something different than what we are experiencing at this time, it is up to us, individually and collectively, to shift our attention on what it is we want to create in our world. It is already here. The light is already within us. The more we witness it within ourselves and others, the more opportunity it has to shine through.
That light is love. It isn’t the love we have for each other. It is much deeper, purer, and more powerful than anything else in our experience. It is the Source we came from and to which we will return when we leave this physical experience. You may choose to call it God, the Divine, Creator, but at the core, it is pure love.
When life is in its darkest place, and it is hard to find joy and see the love that is you, sit with the darkness and see what it has to teach you. When you find moments, where even the smallest point of light is able to break through, allow it in, and observe what it reveals in the shadows. The more you observe and allow yourself to move between the darkness and the light, the less opportunity for you to feel defeated by it. Surrendering is allowing yourself to flow between both, not giving up your power to it.
We continue to walk forward, not knowing what lies ahead. We don’t know when we will get through the challenges we have been living with this past couple of years. We don’t know how much more lies ahead, or what other changes in our world we will be confronted with. Look within and observe and get comfortable with what you see there. Release those pieces of your life that don’t fit anymore.
Hope is seeking outside of yourself for something you already have within you, so shift your attention to focus on the world you want to create. It is already happening, even if you aren’t able to see it. What possibilities do you see? Life is full of wonder, beauty and joy when you remain open to witnessing it around you.
This dark night, come sit with me in the shadows as we wait for the light to return, so we can celebrate, together, the new creation it brings.
