The Black Rose

The mangle, the dark, the black stench, the dark mood, the evil, the dark, the cigarette, the other drink, the murk, the hurt, the stench, the grip, the suffocation, the confusion, the break, the denial. The warmth, the love, the brightness, the security, the trust, the contusion, the pain, the black rose, the resistance, the hurt, the love, the friendliness, the denial, the lack, the tightness, the night time, the cicadas, the black rose, the red rose, the whiteness, the clouds, the beauty, the car, the drive, the wind, the car, the hurt, the love, the hand, the warmth, the fingers, the smile, the radio, the cigarette, the wine, the mother, the father, the child, the children, the baby, the rose, the grass, the house, the dog, the career, the father, the son, the ex, the city, the country, the movie, the food, the lack, the abundance, the hurt, the past, the future, the moment, the teaching, the present, the plane, the moon, the porch, the sympathy, the understanding, the love, the ridiculousness, the clothes, the smell, the laundry, the girls, the boys, the love, the fear, the feeling in the pit of my stomach, the smile, the boy, the girl, the dog, the cat, the car……the drive, the love, the fear. The bed, the pillows, the smell, the end the start, the end the start, the end the start. The end, the start. The tiredness, the breath, the breathing, the mother, the mother, the woman, the girl, the boy, the girls the boys.
