A Stroll through Dick and Addi’s Garden – A Memorial for Lizelle

It was as I waited for these pictures to load for this post that I discovered the brutal loss of our guest blogger and dear friend Lizelle LeRoux. Her last post here, as life would have it, published on the last day of her life. Her voice was viciously silenced by a blade and in investigating this I find that there are 47 murders per day in South Africa, simply because people are white, often. There is not a place in my mind that understands the insanity and inhumanity of these heinous, unthinkable, repeated acts. This was to be a glorious stroll through the wonder of communing with our Mother and Father and adding the love of humans in love with it all. Now we must shine the light of that love ever brighter to release these shadows from our home and reclaim it as the Garden that it was originally given to us as. May we all live in the light of love and may Lizelle LeRoux and all others who are senselessly taken rest in the peace of our Creator. I have no more words, just a throbbing ache where my love for her and this planet and its people, still lives.

I was born and raised a Central New Yorker but lived 18 yrs. in Va Bch, VA. I am the mother of two young men, who are 32and 12 yrs. of age. I have been doing Reflexology since I was 11 yrs old, I have been a teaching Reiki Master for 15 yrs and have been Dr. Mom for my family using therapeutic grade essential oils as our medicine for 10 yrs. Having come from a functional family but living many years in a megalopolis combined with many years of being a catalyst for healing, gives me a varied point of view. Perspective is one of my favorite playgrounds! If you'd like a consultation for Reiki or aromatherapy please feel free to contact me at vaw4beacon@yahoo.com.

  1. The beauty of a soon to be complete cycle. Appreciation of the life for it’s cycle passes yet to the next season. Beautiful, love and light always
